About me:
Daniel Bjarnason graduated from the F.I.H. Music School in 2000 with a piano diploma. He went on to study composition and orchestral conducting at the Reykjavik College of Music and graduated from there in 2003. In 2007, Daniel graduated cum laude form the Freiburg University of Music where he studied orchestral conducting with professor Scott Sandmeier. He works equally as conductor and composer with various artists and orchestras and regularly conducts at the Icelandic Opera. He is one of the founders of the Isafold Chamber Orchestra and has since been its principal conductor and artistic director.
