some suggestions 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago
1/ Would it not indeed be more logical to place Upload/Edit Image under Edit Profile?

2/ The Icons for Read/Unread Mail should be swapped! An un-opened envelop suggests that the letter has not been read! And the opposite! :-) See other social interfaces...

Some thoughts 7 Months, 1 Week ago
Some thoughts:
I know this site is new - and succesful so far - but its success in real life, and in the long run, will depend on:
1/ whether its finding its own niche (for instance in connecting musicians, composers and organizers across borders and genres), and thus constituting a supplement to existing websites - and:
2/ whether it is not only a usable site, but also becomes a necessary tool when connecting, networking and expanding your processes of professional activities, a tool you cant (dont want to) live without? :-)

I think there are a lot of interface issues that could be discussed - and optimized?
Also "content" issues?

Keep up the good work!

This is a wonderful site. It's great that we can all get the chance to do this. It's long overdue! Congratulations to all involved.

Just a thought about instruments or musician choices. I don't see a spot available to conductors! Yes, I know we stick wavers may not be seen by EVERYBODY as necessary to the advancement of music, but some of us like to do a good job :-)

Any chance it could be added in some way as a decriptor?

A beautful looking site as well btw!

Thanks for the positive feedback.
We are doing our best to make Musmap.com stand out from the pack.

The issue you raise has been brought to my attention by Hugi in the early stages of the project. Somehow it got lost in the meantime. My apologies.

Though i am solely in charge of development, i think Hugi won't mind if i add "Conductor" to the list of instrument choices.

Shall be available next time you lg in.

Regards,
Nuno.

Done.
Provisionally it will be sitting at the very end of the instruments list.

Mate, you're a champion! Thanks for all that.

I think we're all commited to making this as marvellous and positive an experience as it can be. I've already heard some fantastic music on some of the profiles.

This is like being left to play in a candy store!

Best
