This thread discusses the Content article: Recording and production of contemporary music

Very interesting point and an enormously important question for composers today: What can "acoustic" music do in the recording studio. I personally think that the piece you hear on the record and what you get in the concert doesn't have to be the "same" at all.
It would be nice to hear what others think though.
