A recipient of the 2006 Philippine Presidential Award, Adolovni Acosta has been hailed by the international press for her outstanding musicianship and for her keyboard prowess that evokes intensity and grace. The Reviews of London Recitals wrote: “connoisseurs of piano-playing would be favoured with music-making of fine quality“ and “whether high-toned and assertive, or simply quiet, Adolovni Acosta’s playing was always communicative.” “A name to remember” according to Le Parisien Libéré. “She mesmerized the audience with works by Liszt, Chopin and Beethoven,” wrote Bonner Rundschau.

Adolovni has performed recitals in North and South America, Europe, the MIddle East, Asia, and the Pacific and at the finest venues including Wigmore and Purcell Halls in London; Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, and Steinway Hall in New York; Salle Cortot in Paris; Hallwylska Museet in Stockholm; Odd Fellow Palaet in Copenhagen; Der BeethovenSaal at La Redoute in Bonn; Yamaha Concert Hall in Vienna; Centrepointe Theatre in Ottawa (Canada); the Sunderland and Wolverhampton Art Galleries in England, the former presented by the Sunderland Pianoforte Society; Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires; Sala Carlos Chavez (UNAM) in Mexico City; Teatro Nacional in Brasilia, Thailand Cultural Centre, Bangkok Goethe House, the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Manila and the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in California . She has also performed at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, Ithaca College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Fujian Normal University in Fuzhou, China, the Melba Conservatorium of Music in Melbourne, Australia, as well as in Berlin, Hamburg, Den Haag, Qatar, Sabah, Brunei, Phnom Penh, Chiang Mai, Beijing, and across the United States.

Actively giving recitals for Philippine Embassies and Consulates in many parts of the world, Adolovni has also performed at Malacañan Palace in Manila in the presence of President Gloria M. Arroyo and former President Fidel Ramos during the testimonial dinner for the 2006 Philippine Presidential awardees and at The White House for then former first lady Rosalyn Carter and wives of the diplomatic corps.

Conservatories have invited her to conduct master classes in addition to performing recitals. Among them are Monash University-Conservatorium in Melbourne, Australia, University of Canterbury Music Department in New Zealand, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory in Saigon, the University College Sedaya in Kuala Lumpur, and the University of the Philippines. Her performances and recordings, often with live interviews, have been featured in radio and television worldwide.

Some of her performances have benefited, among others, Cancer Care, Inc. and the Asian Cultural Council in New York, the Instituto de Obras Sociales of Michoacán in Mexico City, the University of the Philippines College of Music, the Filipino Ministry in Westlake Village, California and the establishment of a scholarship fund for children of Filipino descent in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

A graduate of the University of the Philippines (U.P.), and a first prize winner in a national piano competition sponsored by the Music Promotion Foundation of the Philippines, Adolovni received the John D. Rockefeller 3rd Fund scholarship from The Juilliard School where she earned the M.S. degree in Piano in the class of Miecyzlaw Munz. At U.P., she studied with Benedicta Macaisa and Regalado Jose. She also studied with Eugene List , privately with Zenon Fishbein, and coached with Claude Frank and Constance Keene. She taught at The Juilliard School Pre-College Division, New York University Department of Music and the Performing Arts Professions, and Hunter College of the City University of New York Department of Continuing Education.
